A truly unique idea, with a special attention on characterization, Trinity Seven offered Anime fans the opportunity to enjoy something truly unique. It was a series that introduced us to seven women, each of whom represented something significant. Given the range of characters, as well as a subject matter that touched on the spiritual side of things, it isn’t difficult to see why this series has been such a success. It is a mix of action, strangeness, and some of the most appealing characters one could ever hope to find. It is a great example of a fairly recent Anime commanding a sizable, devoted following.

Created by writer Kenji Saito and artist Akanari Nao, Trinity Seven was first released as a manga in 2010. It was a hit almost immediately. Fans fell in love with the characters, each of whom are based upon one of the Seven Deadly Sins. For example, you have a major character named Lilith, who represents lust. There is a character named Airn, who represents anger. The Trinity Seven are mages. Their story begins as they come into contact with a young man named Arata Kasuga, whose cousin Hijiri Kasuga disappears during the day of the Black Sun. This causes Arata to seek out a means to rescue his cousin, which comes to him when the Trinity Seven investigate the power of a spell cause by a grimoire Hijiri gave Arata, before disappearing into the unknown.
The manga offered readers the opportunity to visit a truly unique world. The series was eventually brought to a new life in the form of a light novel. This was created by the same artist and writer in 2014. It was also during that same year that the Anime was released to considerable acclaim.
Due to the success of the series, we also got a special OAV episode. Two movies have also been released. All of this naturally leads fans to be optimistic that Trinity Seven season 2 will eventually become a reality. There is unquestionably enough material to be found in the manga to justify further episodes. When can we expect something?
Certainly, Trinity Seven is still very much on everyone’s mind. After all, the movies were released quite recently. The first film was released in 2017 to a significant degree of success. Two years later, in 2019, the second film was released. It proved to be just as popular as the first one. All of this just stokes the fires for another season. The question for many people is less of a matter of whether or not the new season will be released, and more of a matter of when it will come out.
When To Expect Trinity Seven Season 2
Reports indicated at one point that we would see the second season of Trinity Seven in April of 2019. This proved to not be the case. As the period came and went, fans were left wondering when the next season of the series might actually see the light of day. At this point in time, it is difficult to say why the second season was not released as planned. The situation has been very frustrating for fans of the series, the manga, the OAV, and the two movies.
Some believe the studio simply wants to put a little more space between the second film and another season. This is perhaps the most likely scenario. To be clear, until we hear something dramatically different, we should still expect another season. It would be safe to assume that a second season will probably come out at some point in 2020.
What To Expect From Trinity Seven Season 2
The further adventures of Arata at the Royal Biblia Academy will likely dominate the plot of the second season. It seems likely that we will also further explore such Trinity Seven members as Mira, Levi, Yuti, and the others. This is a series that definitely gives you a wide range of characters to enjoy. The OAV and movies have expanded nicely on the story established in the manga, light novel, and then in season 1. There is still a good deal more to tell, as far as all of the characters are concerned.
The Future Of Trinity Seven
As Arata continues to train to become a powerful mage, season 2 of Trinity Seven will continue a unique journey. As we mentioned before, at this specific point in time, a second season is still on the way. It is simply a question of when.
